New MapServer Users: You Can Do It!

Jeff McKenna, Perry Nacionales and I regularly lead a MapServer 101 / Getting Started workshop. We did it again this year at the FOSS4G conference. Reading through the feedback comments is always interesting. Although there are always useful criticisms, one specific positive comment stuck out at me and reminded me of the reason we do the workshop: http://spatialguru.com/files/success.png

Tyler Mitchell:

Chris, There we are usually holding a workshop at least once a year at the main OSGeo conference event: FOSS4G. This year to be held in Sydney, Australia in October. There are local groups and volunteers and consultants all over the place who could put on a workshop for you if there was enough interest.

I see you are in Osaka, we have a local chapter group working there, particularly on OCU - so in case you want to meet them, join their mailing list and introduce yourself.

Chris:

Sounds interesting I'd like to hear more. When and where is the next workshop that you are leading? Also do you have any online posts about it?

Thanks in advance,

Chris
